Teresa Lynn Brown, 54, of Akron, PA passed away at the home of her parents in Akron on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. She was born in Allentown, PA on April 14, 1963. Teresa graduated from the Ephrata High School in 1981 and St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in 1985. She last worked as a registered oncology infusion nurse for what is now known as the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute. Teresa was known for putting patients first and was also known for being an advocate for them. She enjoyed playing the piano, and taking rides in the fall to see the colorful leaves. Any chance she could get she loved speaking Spanish and was very proficient in it.

Teresa is survived by her parents Thomas W. and Linda L. Brown with whom she resided.

Teresa was an active member of the Ephrata Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the New Holland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 530 New Holland Rd., New Holland, PA 17557.
