Médecins Sans Frontières reports that a Russian air strike has destroyed a compound in northern Syria with least seven people dead and more than ten people missing presumed to be dead.

Our Reigning King and High Priest Jesus Christ had forewarned us: "You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars. Do not be alarmed for these things must take place but the end is not yet" (Matthew 24: 6 NWT). 

What is amazing is the actual fulfillment of his words each day. The Middle East is not the only wartorn region experiencing war and threats of war. North Korea is provoking war by launching missiles in South Korea's direction. The constant display of force and power; the bragging and the boasting; the constant rhetoric of what one nation can do to another nation, the capability to destroy and dominate, the flexing of nucleuric muscles in an effort to strike fear and dread in those who do not know the Grand Creator Jehovah - It is just what we have read about in the Book of Revelation. Russia, with its massive military force allied with the rich Saudi Arabian Emirates reminds me of the Book of Daniel: "And the king of the north will return and muster a crowd larger than the first; and at the end of the times [italics, mine], after some years, he will surely come with a large army and with many resources" (Daniel 11:13 NWT). 

Sure, they are gathering themselves together in that hotbed region where the Prince of Persia occupies; the One who tried to prevent Gabriel from declaring a message to Daniel and the Great Chief Prince Michael had to intervene (Daniel 10:13; 12:1,2; Revelation 16:14;17:12-14). When King Jesus arrives in all his glory to do battle with the Original Serpent who has been misleading the entire earth (Revelation 12:9), that will be the war of all wars; never to have occurred nor will ever occur again (Praise Jah!). That glorious battle will not only vindicate Jehovah's sovereignty, but will break the nations into pieces and evaporate their puny arsenals of war. The wicked will be from one end of the earth clear to the other, and their blood will be up to the bridle of a horse (Revelation 14:20). No more boasting, mighty reThat is why Jesus consolingly promised his disciples: "Life your heads up, for your deliverance is getting near" (Luke 21:28).
