Mrs. Helen Jo (Ferguson) Wingo

Mrs. Helen Jo (Ferguson) Wingo, of Conway, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the age of 82. She was born April 25, 1933, in Tuckerman, the daughter of Joe and Rosie (Martin) Ferguson.

Mrs. Wingo was a retired cosmetologist, owning Helen’s Beauty Cove. She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, and growing flowers. Mrs. Wingo especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mrs. Wingo was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Robert Lee “Bob” Wingo; one son, Larry Wayne Wingo; two brothers, Sam and Curtis Ferguson; one sister, Ruth Estes; and her parents.

She is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Thompson of San Antonio, Texas, and Ronda Morris and husband, Gary, of Conway; one brother, Bill Ferguson and wife, Leigh; three grandchildren, Renee Bibby of Corpus Christie, Texas, Tina Whetzler and husband, Garland, of San Antonio, Texas, and Brian Davis and wife, Lindsey, of Bentonville, Arkansas; seven great grandchildren, Brittany, Ian, Lilly, Brecken, Stephany, Ansley, Eric, and Isabelle.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at Conway.
