Las autoridades rusas intensifican sus esfuerzos por disolver entidades legales de los Testigos

En algunas regiones de Rusia, las autoridades siguen calificando de extremistas las pacíficas actividades religiosas de los testigos de Jehová.

  • Tiumén (región de Tiumén). La fiscalía acusó a un testigo de Jehová que es miembro de la entidad legal de los Testigos en Tiumén de distribuir publicaciones “extremistas”. Después de que el Testigo fuera condenado, el fiscal inició los trámites para disolver la entidad legal. El Tribunal Supremo de la Federación de Rusia analizará el caso el 14 de abril de 2016.
  • Elista (República de los Calmucos). El jefe de la policía local ordenó que se registrara el Salón del Reino de los testigos de Jehová de Elista y “descubrió” publicaciones que aparecen en la lista federal de documentos extremistas. El fiscal de la República de los Calmucos utilizó pruebas falsas para presentar una petición para disolver la entidad legal de los Testigos en Elista. El caso está pendiente de ser tratado en el Tribunal Supremo de la Federación de Rusia.
  • El Tribunal Supremo de la Federación de Rusia tiene pendiente analizar la reciente disolución de otras entidades legales de los Testigos, incluidas las de Starii Oskol y Bielgorod.
