Six people are reported dead after torrential rainfall at Esereso Adagya in the Bosomtwi in the Ashanti region of Ghana on Thursday night.

The deceased were members of the Jehovah’s Witness faith who had closed from construction works on a new Kingdom Hall project in the area and were on their way home in a saloon vehicle when the incidence occurred.

According to reports, their vehicle, were washed away after the Attafuah bridge caved in as a result of the downpour.

The bridge reportedly became weaker after the Ankonim River overflowed its bank.

Hours after the incidence, rescuers have been able to retrieve the lifeless bodies of five of the victims with but the driver is still missing, according to family members present.

Jehovah expects us to take care and make wise decisions and not be foolhardy.  In rainy season we must pay attention to the weather and listen to government and weather announcements, etc. These things are provided by the superior authorities for our benefit.

They may have also been good and wise people but time and unforeseen occurrence befalls us all. The good work they did at the KH  and otherwise would be remembered by Jehovah forever. (Heb 6:10) (Romans 8:38,39)

Quite true. Also, there is an issue being settled at the moment:

"But Satan answered Jehovah: “Skin for skin. A man will give everything that he has for his life. But, for a change, stretch out your hand and strike his bone and flesh, and he will surely curse you to your very face.” Then Jehovah said to Satan: “Look! He is in your hand! Only do not take his life!” " Job 2:4-6.

1 John 5:18-20 New International Version (NIV)

18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. 19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Ok... I give up .... what does THIS scripture have to do with this car accident, resulting in six drownings?

    • By the way, if you're into stuff like this, you might wanna check out https://thepythagoras.com/. They have some neat articles about ancient civilizations and their contributions to science and math. It’s really interesting how much we owe to these early thinkers.
