Moonflower is one of the most romantic plants you can grow in the garden. It’s a statuesque, ideal evening-garden plant bearing large trumpet-shape flowers that unfurl in the evening (or on overcast days) and stay open until the sun rises. Most are sweetly fragrant when open. This beautiful plant is also very heat- and drought-resistant. Beware: It’s quite poisonous, especially the seeds. Just when we wonder what use there is for the moth. We find that the moth pollinates the moonflowers. The moonflower also gives the appearance of it glowing when the moonlight rises above them. The put on quite a show as the evening goes on.

WOW,  never  heard.... thats  clever  &  very  interesting !  I  love  little  sweetly  fragrant  ;o)  Will  more  inform  me.  My  favorite  is  the  *Frangipani*  in  white / yellow  -  a  phenomenal  fragrance !  Frangipani  is  drop-dead  fragrant...  huuuii >>>>>>>   Can't  stop when  I've  a  blossom, hahaha  ;o)

Its  growing  on  the  Maldives,  Hawaii  etc.
