An official Austria Watchtower delegation meeting with government and religion leaders of that country. What was the job title of Walter SchneeweiB?

The purpose of the Conference was to get all the clergy together to put pressure on the rogue clergyman in the picture to shave off his beard.  How can you look like a clergy with a beard?

.

This continuous, never-ending global controversy has been going on since the 1960's, that I am aware of personally, and even before, when Judge Rutherford PERSONALLY forbade beards among Jehovah's witnesses, with the possible exception of post-menopausel Sisters .... and the Society has never definitively stated ANYTHING.

With my usual lack of humor I present the Draft Copy of the December 2016 issue of the Watchtower which showed a Brother shaving on the cover ... it was changed before being distributed, because the Brothers responsible for the VERY GOOD and accurate article ... disappeared mysteriously.

After you save the file to your hard drive, from the TOOL BAR, be sure to set your ADOBE PDF reader under VIEW to "Reading Mode" and under ZOOM,  "Fit Page" to read it.

Reporting on the fact that Austria had implemented the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights of July 2008 regarding recognition of Jehovah's Witnesses in Austria, the news source, derstandard.at,  stated that:

"It's not over yet"

8 May 2009, 12:43

Recognition is "milestone, anyway, Jehovah's Witnesses demand change in the legal situation

Vienna - After their recognition as a religious community, the Jehovah's Witnesses continue to pose a change in the legal situation. The recognition is a "milestone", Walter Schneeweiß, a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses board, on Friday at a press conference.

The Austrian Jehovah's Witnesses website also mentions this report.

So it appears legal recognition obligates to some communal participation as a state recognised religion. Attendance at this meeting of 09June 2009, coming hot on the heels of the announcement of recognised status the previous month, was probably judged as expedient at the time. Walter Schneeweiß represented the branch.

Imagine how many meetings and joint dialogue have done (and still doing) through decades by WT representatives (elders) with "beast" and "Babylon the Great" out of rank and file members eyes who are "untitled" to hear "privilege informations".

But ok, members would not understand the reasons and subjects for conversations??!!  :)))) On other side, greater sin for average JW member is to paint walls in a church than for WT elder who sit (and drink or eat) on the same table with "satan servants". Hehe, hypocrisy? or just demagogy and practical move in modern time.

    • By the way, if you're into stuff like this, you might wanna check out https://thepythagoras.com/. They have some neat articles about ancient civilizations and their contributions to science and math. It’s really interesting how much we owe to these early thinkers.
    • The Dendera Zodiac is such an amazing piece of history. Imagine ancient Egyptians looking up at the same stars we do now and creating this detailed map. It's mind-blowing! So, what do I think about it? I think it's a fascinating blend of art and astronomy. Those ancient folks really knew their stuff. The way they incorporated their gods and mythologies into the constellations is just brilliant. And it's not just about the stars, it’s a glimpse into how they viewed the universe and their place in it.
    • FIFA's collaboration with Algorand represents a significant milestone for blockchain technology. Algorand will serve as the official blockchain platform for FIFA, supporting events such as the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023 and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022. This partnership is poised to enhance FIFA's digital asset management while boosting Algorand's visibility through advertising and promotional opportunities. On another note, I've been tuning into African football recently. The match between Kanifing East FC and Latrikunda United was unexpectedly impressive. African football often goes underappreciated, yet the skill and enthusiasm in these matches are evident. We can expect even more significant development and excitement in African football with increased attention and support.
