I have non-JW relatives in Portlandia so I have to deal w/the leftist-postmodernist garbage all the time when I visit. It infects everyone's thinking.

I heard about that particular exchange. Or at least that such shenanigans had been reported on by Joe Rogan. (I don't really know much about the two being interviewed.) My older son is a lawyer who came by to help my wife and I do some gardening/planting today, and by coincidence he was quoting Joe Rogan today. I knew generally about some of the bogus academic papers, but had never listened closely enough to know exactly what these were about. It's a shame what kind of hypocrisy and shallow thinking can make up swaths of academia.

I couldn't care much less about modern gender issues, but the shallowness and hypocrisy of publishing what people want to hear has infected many other ideologies -- and has manipulated attitudes toward ideologies and their supposed "opposites." And of course, this can be taken advantage of by those who know what's going on, sometimes to promote something true, but usually with only enough truth to help leverage a more sinister agenda. Discovering "truth" becomes a bit more complex when we realize that even the studies and statistics it's supposedly based on can easily be misused -- or just made up out of thin air.  Starting with the conclusion and working backwards (or "creating" evidence) to make it believable has become such a common practice in support of ideology.

I notice of late that you are using the term woman as an epithet when you wish to insult someone you dislike.  Why is that?  Do you think it is in keeping with the counsel we've been receiving lately on God's view of women?

The Watchtower and the CCJW / JW org will fall as will all false religions.

Well they seem to have fallen in Russia for a start. And they are having many problems in many countries. 

But seriously, the scriptures tell us that the governments will turn against religions and I cannot imagine that any religious organisation will be left complete. With the org having so much info' available online I think a government hacker could easily find every Elders email address and home address. All Elders have codes to log into the 'private' parts of JW Org, so government hackers or JW Elder whistle blowers could access lots of private info.  It would be so easy to blow the whole Org away. 

Now that is where we would find out if God through Christ was protecting that org isn't it.  God either guided or allowed the Romans to destroy Jerusalem because of the sins of the Jews and the of murdering Jesus.  So will God or Christ protect or destroy JW Org / CCJW / Watchtower.  Time will tell
