It truly is a ridiculous notion, but unfortunately it also happens to be a true notion. I have never banned anyone, nor do I wish to, nor do I have the power to do that. No, of course no

I was tempted to say something that might clarify that @Real-JWinsider is actually just one more "troll" persona for @Allen_Smith, @Ray Devereaux, @BillyTheKid-55, @César Chávez, @Dotlizhihii Tlenaai,

Thank you and I'm sorry for your loss as well.

This is a good point from both sides. My wife and I love to be together, but apart from everyone else. We just like our time together, just the two of us. We never did like meetings, too may people, too much noise. We are not ones for going to mass gatherings. Attending assemblies, especially when the five children were young, was horrid.  So maybe we wouldn't enjoy the 'paradise' so much :) .   Unless we were given a small plot of land away from 'the madding crowd'.  But then some folks on here tell me I won't get the chance anyway..................

Yeah, waking up to 140 billion other people would be quite shocking, but at least there would be a lot more hands to clean up all 7 billion or so dead bodied and destroyed cities, which still doesn't sound appealing.

Not with a world full of jw's worshipping a god who committed genocide.

On the other hand, upon resurrection, if it should turn out that God has really done this, perhaps she could thank him for having given her a heads-up in advance so she wouldn’t be one of those who went down.

And if it should turn out that he hasn’t done this, that there are more survivors than she envisioned, where’s the beef?

”Destruction of the wicked” has been a Bible theme from the moment pen was put to parchment. All but the most liberal of churches have it to some degree. Many put it far worse that JWs do, by preaching that God would torment the wicked FOREVER in hell, as payback for just A FEW DECADES of wrongdoing. Doesn’t your church believe something like that?

But isn't the GB / W/t teaching that one 'has to be a baptised JW to be saved' ?  This is a serious question Tom ?

So will you give us your personal opinion ?  What do YOU teach others ? Is it only God's 'real' enemies, those in direct opposition, that will be killed, or, is it all non JWs that will  be killed ?

The fact that JWs on this forum call us non JWs 'enemies of God' or 'apostates', seems to answer the question quite well but it would be nice to know how JWs really feel. But then it would also be nice to know who on here are genuine JWs :)

1. We don't believe in the Dante's version of hell like jw's do.

2. We believe people choose to go there, God doesn't send them there.

Dogs are extremely empathic, almost bordering on telepathy.

Not so much with other dogs, but the canine/human bond is truly amazing!

Dogs don't believe in Heaven or Hell ... we just try to be the best dogs we can be for our 15 or so years on this earth, and if we are extremely fortunate, we have a Guardian, who as the end is near, as is unavoidable with everything DNA, will end our lives painlessly somehow, so we do not have to suffer, so this concept of "hell" is foreign to us.

Our deaths cause them such great pain.

I have observed, It is a two way street.

Can you please tell me in detail how you visualize "hell", and what do you use as hard evidence to justify that belief?

Inquiring canines want to know.

The point of the above cartoon, for the agenda disabled, is that EVERYBODY has a different viewpoint of what "Hell" is ... it's not a monolithic block of belief ... even if in any group that "officially" believes one or another concept .... ALWAYS without proof (as it is SOOooo difficult to get reliable reports back ....).

Many preachers now teach that "Hell" is eternal separation from God and his influence, now that we know what is below the Earth's crust in great detail.

They teach that the human soul is immortal (somehow), and when you add the eternal separation from God ... MANY would consider that as Heaven!

.... as a classic example, Las Vegas immediately comes to mind.

As an aside: you can always tell "agenda driven thinking", as opposed to REAL thinking.

Their downvotes are a spasm reflex ... irregardless of the topic or points raised.

.... and I suspect Satan's ( the fantasy one with the horns and barbed tail ...) torment weapon of choice is not a pitchfork .... it's an accordion.

I rather like the Gary Larsen cartoon of the Devil fuming that his 666 room has been mislabeled 999, and the workman explains that he must have been holding the blueprint upside down.

Maybe that’s what hell is—not being able to find good help.

    • By the way, if you're into stuff like this, you might wanna check out https://thepythagoras.com/. They have some neat articles about ancient civilizations and their contributions to science and math. It’s really interesting how much we owe to these early thinkers.
    • The Dendera Zodiac is such an amazing piece of history. Imagine ancient Egyptians looking up at the same stars we do now and creating this detailed map. It's mind-blowing! So, what do I think about it? I think it's a fascinating blend of art and astronomy. Those ancient folks really knew their stuff. The way they incorporated their gods and mythologies into the constellations is just brilliant. And it's not just about the stars, it’s a glimpse into how they viewed the universe and their place in it.
    • FIFA's collaboration with Algorand represents a significant milestone for blockchain technology. Algorand will serve as the official blockchain platform for FIFA, supporting events such as the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023 and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022. This partnership is poised to enhance FIFA's digital asset management while boosting Algorand's visibility through advertising and promotional opportunities. On another note, I've been tuning into African football recently. The match between Kanifing East FC and Latrikunda United was unexpectedly impressive. African football often goes underappreciated, yet the skill and enthusiasm in these matches are evident. We can expect even more significant development and excitement in African football with increased attention and support.
