This is exactly the point. Thanks. The Watchtower has ALWAYS turned the generation into a zone of dates. When the Watchtower's previous zone of dates was no longer tenable, there was an excellent oppo

Let it be as you said

This is why I am a witness - because the core principles have remained the same but the slave are NOT so arrogant to think that some of the prophecies and illustrations cannot be looked at again and re-adjusted with the help of Jehovah's Spirit. In other churches they stick to ideas promoted hundreds of years ago - even more than a thousand years and stubbornly refuse to adjust.

Here is the general definition of formalism:

  • a follower or advocate of the basing of ethics on the form of the moral law without regard to intention or consequences.
When this happens it means that a person may not see it from a new perspective regarding intention or consequences.

That being said, regarding 1975, it is linked to the game Telephone and granted this was in the 70s, often things heard is publication, a parallel example to this would be the Cuban Missile Crisis of the 60s whereas one person says something, the others say something else, and their is panic and action that ensues; speculation. A more serious and legitimate comparison is Buy The Rumor, Sell the News (associated with F.U.D.)

So the WTJWorg organization solely led by the Holy Spirit along with all the JW people in it fell victim to “rumors”?

How is this possible when JWs are the only people who are “spiritually awake” from long past,  while the whole world sleeps in “false dreams”?

By changing the doctrine, "prophecy" also changes. For example, when Gog of Magog ceased to be Satan and became a "coalition of nations" attacking JW just before Armageddon, and then in another context,

There are 4 elements to the prophecy of gog and magog. None of which have been properly debated here. But it's not up to me to teach the gospel to people that should already know.

and then in another context, "rebellious perfect people" at the end of the 1000-year Kingdom of Jesus, then the "prophecy" that uttered the "GB fickle prophet", changed too.

When did the Watchtower change it stance on the 1000-year process to perfection(sinless state) of man. As far as I can see, the Watchtower still teaches the bible truth that makes that claim, not the GB, as you falsely claim.

Ultimately, all that GB performs has no real value or significance, because the Bible urges people not to fear such a prophet. That’s another point, don’t be afraid of GB because it utters nonsense.

To bible challenged and ignorant people, you're correct, those people will never understand. That's what makes their perspective nonsense. Such is the case of former JWs.

This one is hilarious. When did you believe JWs became perfect in your eyes? I really wish to know.

My first contact with "1975" came from the moment I first read about it in WT publications, long time ago. “Biblical context and significance of 1975 as a chronologically important year” for JW members urged by WTJWorg scholars.

This is correct. Now understand, like the rest of the people here that continue on this foolish course, it was about the 6000-year existence. People should have been overjoyed to have been Alive! In 1975 for that important event.

Now, it seems Jehovah's Witnesses here still don't appreciate the significance of that year. But, that's on them.

As imperfect people they continue to produce imperfect spiritual food with hilarious outcomes. :) And JW people take this position seriously. It seems how they are aware of own imperfection and imperfection of their religious leaders, but still continue to obey them.

Not until a JW leaves and expresses that 1975 was another false prediction made by the Wt, does SM then take note.  That person becomes the liar, according to him, because Wt never said specifically, these words: ARMAGEDDON WILL ARRIVE IN THE FALL OF 1975.

You mean, your false claim of it being about Armageddon. A foolish witness doesn't need to leave that institution to think foolishly. They can do that anytime and anywhere. There were JWs back then thinking the same "obtuse" reasoning you are giving now as testimony to the past. Were you there, by any chance?

It appears, this nonsense started after 1986 in mainstream, and it really took off after the 90s.

You mean the wild beast that attacks, lies about people, denigrates people for no reason to exalt them selves, and slanders them with false accusations?

Hey, your talking about yourself, well done. It was a long time coming!
