You see Jay - the focus is all skewed. here you are obsessing about the TIME and you have not told us about the VISIT itself. Who did you visit? How are they? What Experiences did they have to share with you ? What Gift did you impart to them by way of the interchange? What needs do they have? etc etc etc

Instead the man-made Pharasaical style rules cloud the whole matter for you - its the TIME the TIME all about the TIME

I do volunteer work in poverty-stricken communities in my city - the last thing on my mind is the TIME I spend there -

And btw NO ! According to the man-made Pharasaical Style Rulz you cant count the TIME - it should be part of your Sacred Service - If they are baptised you cant count the TIME -

So dump the visits to the faithful oldies if you are concerned about getting your TIME in !

I cannot agree more with Joe Smith.
When The Almighty spoke through Jeremiah about the future covenant, He said: "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts". If you want to keep a record of whom you visit and for how many hours is up to you. Now if you want to share this record with some earthly organization this is up to you too. But one thing is clear: Do not be good to others just because someone told you you must fill up some hours of visits. You must do it because the Law of the Almighty is in your heart not written in some paper.
If you ask my personal opinion ...  that is you can write this hours and every hour that glorifies JAH and His king our Lord Jesus.

Continue to do good and be blessed !

Ann O'Maly Thanks for the rap on the knuckles - I should have used the 3rd person as my post was a bit of a rant - And it pays not to type any responses when you are ticked off or angry - Point taken - My reference to time-counting being an obsession within the JW ORG still stands though -

Stay well !

Oh....good morning from my world [at time of posting] It should reach 30 deg C today -

Lol. Absolutely! And the beans JWs have to count are getting smaller and smaller - every tract, every JW video shown, every pdf sent. I think of Matt. 23:23, 24.

Enjoy your hot, sunny, late summer afternoon. Hmpf. I'm not jealous. Honest.

To me it's not about counting the time but encouraging our brothers and sisters. If all you are concerned about is counting time...do it elsewhere. If they are baptized I would think it would not be appropriate. Should be putting our hearts into that visit and be genuinely concerned about their spiritual health.

    • By the way, if you're into stuff like this, you might wanna check out https://thepythagoras.com/. They have some neat articles about ancient civilizations and their contributions to science and math. It’s really interesting how much we owe to these early thinkers.
    • The Dendera Zodiac is such an amazing piece of history. Imagine ancient Egyptians looking up at the same stars we do now and creating this detailed map. It's mind-blowing! So, what do I think about it? I think it's a fascinating blend of art and astronomy. Those ancient folks really knew their stuff. The way they incorporated their gods and mythologies into the constellations is just brilliant. And it's not just about the stars, it’s a glimpse into how they viewed the universe and their place in it.
    • FIFA's collaboration with Algorand represents a significant milestone for blockchain technology. Algorand will serve as the official blockchain platform for FIFA, supporting events such as the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023 and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022. This partnership is poised to enhance FIFA's digital asset management while boosting Algorand's visibility through advertising and promotional opportunities. On another note, I've been tuning into African football recently. The match between Kanifing East FC and Latrikunda United was unexpectedly impressive. African football often goes underappreciated, yet the skill and enthusiasm in these matches are evident. We can expect even more significant development and excitement in African football with increased attention and support.

Algorand will be the official blockchain platform for FIFA, sponsoring events like the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023 and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022. This partnership will help FIFA with digital assets and provide advertising and promotional opportunities for Algorand.
