Hillary Clinton’s campaign gave Friday afternoon Twitter a gift today when the Democratic candidate tweeted a Venn Diagram-esque graphic on gun control. In the graphic, the 2016 front-runner’s campaign was trying to point out that both the majority of gun owners and the majority of Americans support universal background checks before gun purchases. The only problem was, as FiveThirtyEight’s Ben Casselman pointed out: Twitter users, likely happy for a distraction from the Friday afternoon doldrums, had a field day.
