Her Body Was Found in Home She Shared With Deputy Boyfriend and Ruled Suicide — but New Independent Autopsy Reportedly Reveals Major Bombshell

The death of 24-year-old Michelle O’Connell was quickly ruled a suicide in 2010 after her body was discovered in the Florida home she shared with her boyfriend, a sheriff’s deputy.

Six years later, a new independent autopsy has reportedly uncovered several bombshell revelations.

Dr. William Anderson said O’Connell’s family asked him to have the woman’s body exhumed for a new examination — and claimed his tests suggest homicide, not suicide, the Daily Mail reported.

Family members believe Jeremy Banks, a deputy with the St. John’s County Sheriff’s department, was involved in O’Connell’s death. He has never been charged with any crime connected to the case.

But, according to the report compiled by Dr Anderson and with the help of two dental experts, her mandible, or jaw bone, was virtually snapped in two before the fatal gun shot.

They also found that the way the gun was placed in her mouth, O’Connell would have been gagging and could even have been choking.

The autopsy states the jaw was broken by blunt-force trauma, suggesting she could have been punched in the face or pistol whipped just before she died.

At the end of the report, the conclusion plainly states:  ’The manner of death should be considered Homicide.’

The new details, coupled with domestic abuse allegations, are sure to raise additional questions about her death six years ago. Family members have claimed that O’Connell had packed her bags and was preparing to leave Banks at the time.

The family hopes a prosecutor will be moved to convene a grand jury after the findings are submitted to the medical examiner’s office.
